The standard W3Z installation price is £199 inc VAT. Subsidies may be available to reduce this price to £50 or less (check the price list page for details on any offers currently available).

In an effort to increase the rapid uptake of Broadband in rural communities, the Regional Development Agencies (RDA) make funds available to subsidise the implementation of non ADSL solutions. These subsidies are only available in a few areas of the country, are principally aimed at the business community and can only be drawn upon in areas where no BT ADSL service is available. Community groups can also benefit from these subsidies as has recently been proven by the Digital Wirksworth team who succesfuly bid for funds to enable eleven communities to receive the W3Z service. This has resulted in 225 households and businesses receiving a subsidised installation.

The distribution of these funds is carried out by RABBIT, a government organisation formed to distribute subsidies which test alternative technologies such as the W3Z wireless solution.

From time to time W3Z-Zycomm, will run subsidised promotions in order to stimulate uptake of the service. This will typically be in exchange for an increase in the contract period.

Remember that when signing up with the W3Z service, you have the option to spread any installation costs over the contract period without incurring interest charges.
